Booking conditions and Cancellation policy. |

1. Your Responsibility.
a. You must tell Red Carpet Travel before you book if you have any health problem or any special needs. If asked you must provide Red Carpet Travel at your own expense any doctors letters or other documents as may be required.
b. You must re-confirm each flight with the relevant airline 72 hours in advance. It is your responsibility to ensure that you arrive at the time and place for all departures. You must check in for all flights a minimum of 2 hours prior to departure and in some cases 3 hours
c. General information on passport, visa and health requirements applicable to British Citizens is subject to change and you must ensure that you comply with all relevant requirements and take with you all documents likely to be required during your holiday. If you do not Red Carpet Travel will not be liable to you and you will have to reimburse Red Carpet Travel for any expense it incurs. All destinations require at least 6 months validity on your passport from the return date back into the UK. All Children must have their own passport.
USA/Canada – please be aware of immigration changes to these destinations. As well as having a 10 year machine readable passport you may not be allowed entry if you have any criminal record or have been refused entry on a previous occasion. Please check for visa regulations.

2. Insurance.
You must take out holiday insurance to cover cancellation charges and the cost of assistance including repatriation in the event of accident or illness. Details of an appropriate policy are available from Redcarpet Travel. Ensure that you take your cover note with you on holiday. If you decline to take out the insurance offered you must give details of your own insurance and sign to absolve Redcarpet Travel of all possible liabilities, which may arise through failure to insure.

3. Booking & Payment.
a. a signed booking form should be forwarded to Redcarpet Travel and a deposit of 10% of the total value of the booking be returned or £200 per person whichever the greater, together with your insurance premium. A separate individual deposit may be required if any arrangement other than flight reservations are made. If booking a low cost carrier and some schedule airlines require full payment at time of reservation. This must be collected plus any further deposit which is still required.
b. No booking shall be deemed to be accepted unless a signed and completed booking form together with the deposit payments has been received and accepted by Redcarpet Travel.
c. The final balance is due on your booking 10 weeks prior to departure from the United Kingdom, failure to do so then Redcarpet Travel reserve the treat your booking as cancelled in which case the provisions of clause 6 will apply. Booking within 10 weeks prior to departure must include full payment. Credit card payments incur a 2% charge.
d. In the case of a late booking charges such as ticket on departure or special delivery costs may be levied.

4. Special Requests.
These must be made in writing preferably on the booking form. Redcarpet Travel will communicate special requests and seat numbers to suppliers but cannot guarantee that they will be met.

5. Amendments by you to a confirmed booking.
Amendments must be requested or confirmed in writing and signed by the person who made the reservation and signed the booking form. All amendments are subject to availability.
Charges: period before holiday commencements when amendment requested:
Outside 10 weeks of departure £50 per person…..10 – 8 weeks prior to departure £75 per person.
8 weeks or less cancellation charges will apply see panel.
Note: Airlines own rulings will apply where special fares limit any change to reservation. Some airlines may charge 100% cancellation charge for any amendments. The above amendment fees are payable in addition to any such fees charged by the airlines. * Where tickets have been issued full full charges apply. Charges will be added to your booking automatically.

6. Cancellation by you.
Cancellations must be notified to Redcarpet Travel in writing, signed by the person who made the reservation ie. Signed the booking form. Cancellation outside 8 weeks prior to departure you will forfeit your deposit and insurance premium. You will also be liable for any further cancellation fees levied by the airlines tour or other operators and for any fees levied on Redcarpet Travel as a result of such cancellation. Airline cancellation charges will always apply.

Redcarpet Travel also book holidays through tour operators on your behalf in that case the relevant tour operators charges will apply.
Insurance policies are not refundable in any circumstances after the 14-day cooling off period.

7. Cancellation by us.
We reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel your travel arrangements. However we will not cancel your travel arrangements less than eight weeks before departure date except for reasons of force majeure or failure by you to pay the final balance. If we are unable to provide the booked travel arrangements, you can either have a refund of all monies paid or accept an offer of alternative travel arrangements of comparable standard from us. If it is necessary to cancel your travel arrangements compensation will be payable in accordance with the table below:

If your booking is through a tour operator who Redcarpet Travel represent and have made the reservation on your behalf then that operators booking conditions and compensation figures will apply.

8. Prices
Prices are based on known costs and exchange rates at the time of booking. Redcarpet Travel cannot control the cost of its holiday components and reserve the right to revise prices after a booking has been confirmed. All Airlines reserve the right to alter fares and these will be passed onto the passenger.

9. Complaints.
If you are unhappy with any facility or service whilst on holiday you must notify the supplier of that facility or service immediately. Ie. Airlines, Tour Operator, Representative or Ground Handler. If none available then Redcarpet Travel Office. If you do not any rights you may have will be reduced or even extinguished. If you wish to complain you must send full written details to Redcarpet Travel within 28 days of your return to the UK. Disputes, which cannot be settled amicably, may, if you wish, be referred to arbitration under a special scheme devised for the travel industry.

10. Financial Protection.
Redcarpet Travel has complied with the financial bonding requirements of the Association of British Travel Agents, ABTA to ensure your money is protected. We also hold an Air Travel Organisers Licence, ATOL and are agents for other ATOL holders.

11. Unused Services/Refunds.
a. Any failure to present yourself to take up a service or facility will be treated as a cancellation and no refund will be made.
b. Any documents returned to Redcarpet Travel for refund, for example unused air coupons, hotel services, car hire vouchers etc for any reason automatically incur an administration charge of 10% with a minimum of £15.
c. All requests for refunds have an administration time of approximately 6 weeks. Refund or unused flight coupons, which have to be returned to the airline, may take longer than this.

12. Responsibility.
Redcarpet Travel act as agents for the airlines and tour and other operators and as such accept no responsibility for any loss or damage of any kind (direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise) arising out of due to or caused by any negligence of the airline or tour or other operators or anyone for whom they are vicariously liable.

13. Conditions of Carrier.
When you travel with a carrier, the conditions of carriage of that carrier will apply, some of which may limit liability. We reserve the right at our absolute discretion to terminate without notice and liability the holiday arrangements of any person who’s behaviour is such that it is likely in our opinion, the airline, pilot, accommodation manager or other person in authority to cause distress, danger, damage or annoyance to other customers, employees, property or to any third party. If any persons are prevented from traveling because in the opinion of any person in authority they appear unfit to travel our responsibility for the holiday will cease. In all cases full cancellation charges will apply.

14. Waiver
No waiver by Redcarpet Travel of any breach of these conditions by you shall be considered as a waiver or any subsequent breach of the same or any other condition. No delay by Redcarpet Travel in taking action on any breach of these conditions by you shall prevent such action being taken.

15. Severability
If any provision of these conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable (in whole or in part) the validity of the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected thereby. |
